Defending the Raven

Bisexual. Married. Man. Open. Read On.

Not so Anonymous

So I wasn’t able to attend the first Sex Bloggers of NYC gathering because I was away at a family wedding (though not so sure that SR would like it so much if I had gone — then again she’s read a bunch of the blogs as well so maybe I’m wrong). However, I’m gonna be stepping out from behind my relative blogger anonymity tonight.

Despite the yucky, icky weather, I’m planning on meeting a fellow blogger for beers after work tonight. It’s something we’ve talked about doing since we’ve started exchanging e-mails a couple months back, but just never did. Well, guess we’re doing it now.

It’s kinda funny and weird and cool at the same time. We seem to have a good vibe over e-mail and seem to have enough in common and not in common to make it fun and interesting. The weird part is that we met in an odd way, have never met, and yet know a heck of a lot about each other. And I guess for me what’s most interesting is that we’re meeting under circumstances that have no real sexual overtones at all.

So should be a very interesting and fun night.

  1. Meeting other bloggers is such a weird thing… Even weirder still is what I did last weekend – flew to Fort Lauderdale to hang out with three bloggers (two of whom I’ve never met but talked on the phone, email, comments, etc. and one who I hung out with in NYC before).

Good luck with that!! Hope to hear about it here!!
